Terms & Conditions
Proposed draft. Effective date: pending legal approval.
1. Scope and acceptance
These proposed terms cover the Flying House Games website, educational programs, and future school licensing services. A school license becomes binding only upon acceptance of final terms in an approved order or checkout.
2. Authorized school licenses
Proposed annual pricing is $7,497 per school site for one selected module or $9,997 per school site for all available modules. All-access includes newly released modules during the term as they become available. License start dates, taxes, renewals, refunds, and cancellation procedures must be specified in the final agreement. No live checkout is currently enabled.
3. Intellectual property and use
Flying House Games and its licensors retain ownership of curriculum, branding, media, and software. The contemplated license permits limited, nonexclusive internal educational use by authorized staff at the licensed school site during the paid term. Redistribution, resale, public reposting, and use by other sites require written authorization.
4. School responsibilities
Schools are responsible for supervising students, selecting safe age-appropriate activities, supplying any required materials unless expressly provided, complying with school policies, and obtaining all required rights and permissions.
5. Video submission permissions
An authorized school representative must certify that every identifiable person appearing in a submitted recording has appropriate signed releases on file, including parent or guardian authorization for minors where required. The releases must cover the specific recording, editing, publication, promotional and distribution uses requested. Schools must also clear third-party music, artwork and other rights.
6. Wristband acceptance rule
Every identifiable participant must wear an approved wristband that is clearly visible. Videos with any red, missing, or obscured wristband will be rejected. A visible wristband is only a screening indicator, not a substitute for signed permissions. Flying House Games may reject or remove submissions for consent, rights, safety, or compliance concerns. Video uploading is not currently enabled.
7. Submission rights
Any future license to use submitted video must be expressly described in a separate approved submission agreement, including permitted media, territories, duration, withdrawal requests and school authorization. This draft does not itself grant video publicity rights.
8. Accounts and access
Account holders must protect credentials. Access may be restricted for security, payment or authorization concerns. Curriculum access and school account activation are not yet available on this independent draft.
9. Payment and termination
The final agreement will address payment collection, whether renewal is automatic, notice periods, refunds, expiration, suspension, and termination. Displayed prices alone do not create an automatic renewal commitment.
10. Disclaimers and disputes
The final contract will address warranties, educational outcomes, liability, indemnification and dispute resolution to the extent permitted by applicable law, after legal review.
11. Changes and contact
The final published version must identify the legal contracting entity, mailing address, effective date, and verified contact details. Do not email student recordings or sensitive records.
Proposed school achievement policy (draft)
Only Flying House Games may approve completion awards after review of the school’s completion report and compliant competition video. Earned counts remain active during a paid annual license, become inactive but preserved for 180 days after expiration, and reset for a future subscription if no renewal occurs within that period. Financial records, consent records and student media are governed by separate legal retention rules. These provisions require legal review before launch.
